He came to give us the abundant life..
to grant to those who mourn in Zion — to give them
Isaiah 61:3
a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.

Jesus restored us to right relationship with the Father. He brought us near and gives us peace with God.
He fights our battles as we stand firm in His promises and gives us victory over brokenness.
As our pastor shared in last Sunday’s message – the hope of repentance is that we can then live differently. Hallelujah!

These pages are in a basic, blank, A5 notebook that I use for faith journaling. I used the devotional kit by Illustrated Faith for April 2025 which is called “Forever Redeemed” and is written by Christy Sheffield who is iamwonderfullycomplex on Instagram.

The block alpha (called Emma’s Alpha) is also by Illustrated Faith. It was included in a previous (Still) devotional kit, but may be brought back if there is sufficient interest so feel free to request it or check their website.
I also used a printable by @kristina.proffitt called Prayers & Promises.
