Whatever it is that we think we need – to be fulfilled, content, happy, or at peace – apart from Christ, are holes in our spiritual armour that will be exploited.
Prepare to be frustrated and enslaved.
However, when we live open-handed to give and receive whatever He wills as Lord and entrusts to us as His servants – we live in freedom.
At the edge of that surrender lives awe and wonder.
We will see goodness when we look to Him.
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
Psalm 27:13-14

He is that goodness – focus on Him.
I cry to you, O Lord; I say, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”
Psalm 142:5

- Take Flight stamp set
- Take Flight Stencil
- He Proved His Love stamp set
- Cloudy Day Edge stencil
- Peace Joy Love stencil
- Nature Silhouettes stamp set
- Skinny Caps Alpha stamp set
- Typewriter Alpha stamp set
This is one of my favourite pages that I’ve done in a while! I started with the Take Flight Stencil and some light blue ink for the background. The stencil had some leftover black ink on it which changed the colour slightly and I loved it. Then, I went over the page using the same blue ink and the Cloudy Day Edge and Peace Joy Love stencils.
Next, I stamped “Paid in Full” using the He Proved His Love stamp set in black ink. I used Skinny Caps Alpha and Typewriter Alpha for my title. For the grassy section in the bottom, I used a stamp from the Nature Silhouettes set; stamping twice to add some dimension. I stamped a resting bird from the same set in the grass, and then another bird from the Take Flight set to indicate a change from resting to soaring. Then, I finished the page with some highlighting from a marker, notes, date stamp, and a prayer.

🎶 What If ~ Consumed By Fire
Doubt keeps us from living in victory. However, I always think it’s a good place to be because doubt acts as a prompt, a reason to seek God and have our understanding and faith increased. The key here is to take it to Him and be prepared to leave it there. Doubt is not a place we should remain in, but transition out of similar to the wilderness. God wants us to live by faith, but understanding is so very necessary to that end.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 23:6
