To walk in truth means to walk according to His ways.
God’s word is one of His gracious gifts. Where would we be without it? How would we know how to live in this world He created? The more I study it, the more I see that there is so much more to know and understand.
Not knowing truth leads to walking in darkness out of ignorance.
How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
Psalm 119:9-11
I’m so thankful, Lord, that You light our path with Your word. May we continually seek to grow in grace and knowledge of You.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Just like the Walk in Light page, this was such a joy to create. I used the Floating Circles stencil to create the background using a blending brush in blue and purple inks.
Then, I stamped some flowers onto mixed media paper using the Blooms With Grace set and cut them out using the coordinating Blooms With Grace dies and I coloured them with watercolours. After the flowers dried, I glued them along the edge of the page.
I did the same with the books which is from the Library Treasures stamp set. These were fussy cut by hand but there is also a coordinating die set.
Next, I stamped the title using the Print Script Caps and Lowercase Alpha stamps. I added some white dots, using a Gelly Roll pen, to the word “Truth” as well as to the flowers. The phrase from 2 Peter in black ink is from the Bloom With Grace stamp set.
As with the other page, I used the Peace Joy Love stencil to add the word “abide” in the same inks as the background. Then, I finished by underlining the verses that stood out to me using a marker.

I really love this song! It is so honest about the selfish condition of our hearts to want our way, yet always seeking to overcome that and walk in His light instead.
To walk in truth means to walk in love as commanded.
His truth illuminates the darkness. By the power of His indwelling Holy Spirit we can then overcome, grow, and walk in newness of life.
I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as we were commanded by the Father.
