I’m continuing to celebrate the seasons with @creativeworshipstamps and reflecting on His faithfulness towards us in every season. This week, we are featuring products in the summer collection.

I really enjoyed creating this meaningful page and I love how it turned out!
I started by stamping the Sunflower Background. I created a mask and covered the sunflower then stamped it again to have a cluster of two flowers. Then, I coloured both of them using watercolour paint, and splattered a bit of brown paint over the page.
As the message is about enjoyment, I thought about praise and singing and so stamped the Vintage Sheet Music in green ink on the bottom section of the page to fill in the white space. Then, I went over that area, as well as around the sunflowers, using brown and green inks with a blending brush.
I used the Cloudy Day Edge stencil with some blue ink to create the sky. Then, I stamped the title over that using the Boss Lady Alpha and Typewriter Alpha stamps. Lastly, I highlighted the text using markers, added some notes, and stamped “The LORD is my STRENGTH” which is from the Have Courage set.

This page is a prayer in acknowledgment that only God can enable me to enjoy the work that I do. He is the Giver of gifts such as wisdom, knowledge, and joy. He is the Giver of life itself!
He gives work, therefore, it too is a gift.
I’ve had many different jobs over the course of my life. Some were more enjoyable than others. Seeing work as a gift not only helps me to embrace it but also transforms my perspective to focus on the Giver and not the work itself. Doing this ultimately leads me to praise and thanksgiving which, I have learned, is a key to joy in all things including work.
