The story of the birth of Jesus Christ is one of love; great and mighty love.
For our Father is the Almighty and Everlasting One. His love cannot be meagre – it is without measure!
His beloved children are not just welcomed back Home but pursued, rescued, and redeemed. He came for me (and you) – Hallelujah!
I say it again – Hallelujah!!
My God, oh, how You love us!
So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still in the distance, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.

I started by creating the die-cuts. First, I stamped the film strip from the Picture This set onto mixed media paper then cut it out by hand. I stencilled over it using the Star Pattern stencil using yellow ink and a blending brush. I stamped the word “LOVE” over it using the Typewriter Alpha. Next, I stamped the flower using the Be A Wildflower set, and the leaves using the Hope Blooms set, onto mixed media paper, then cut them out using the coordinating dies. Both were coloured using watercolour paint. I also stamped the polaroid from the Picture This set three times and cut them out using the Polaroid die set. I left these uncoloured except for the background of one. For that, I used the Rectangles & More and Star Pattern stencils, yellow ink with a blending brush, and a red marker to fill in the heart.
Next, I created the background. I smooshed some blue watercolour paint on the page. After it dried, I swiped a dark blue ink pad in the bottom right corner. Then, I stencilled through the the Rectangles & More stencil using that same ink. Next, I stamped the definition of love using the Faith Definitions 1 stamp in red ink on the bottom of the right page.
I stamped the film strip again, in black ink, then glued the die-cuts to the page. Then, I stamped the title using the He Is stamp set. Lastly, I finished the page with some white paint splatters and highlighted the verses on the left page using markers.

🎶 Abba (Arms of the Father) ~ Jonathan Helser
“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” [Ephesians 3:14-19]
This great love strengthens us to endure the wait. It enables us to live in victory today.
HE IS our reality. Whatever we lack is found in Him – the great I AM.
For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
