Find me singing…

Some days it’s a song of rejoicing.
Some days it’s a lament.
Both end in praise.

What a gift it is to come before our God honestly.

I’ve experienced my share of hard in this life, and also a lot of good. It’s only by His grace that I’m not bitter and hard hearted today. It’s only by His grace that I can see all the goodness and appreciate the story He’s written.

It is only by His grace that I abide faithfully and endure patiently.

As always, I took inspiration from the design already on the page and complemented it. I used the Rectangles & More stencil to add some leaves around the pages using green ink and a blending brush. Then, I stamped the Wonderful Words of Life hymn image in the same colour.

Next, I stamped over that using leaves from the Mindful Magnolias set, in black ink. I left these as is because there is already so much colour on the page. Also, the outline mimics the outlines from the original design.

Then, I used a stamp from the Funky Textures 3 set to add a block of colour, in pink ink, over the page title and on the right page as well. I stamped over that second block with the meaning of grace from the Faith Definitions 1 set.

After that, I stamped sentiments from the Mindful Magnolias set using pink ink. And then, I highlighted some of the text using a marker. The title was created using the Skinny Caps Alpha stamp set.
