Stewardship of His grace

“Our God is loaded!”

I loved this quote from the Marvellous Mystery devotional bible study on Ephesians by @hellojillsky for @illustratedfaith.

He is abundant in grace and mercy. Eternally glorious. Infinitely wise. And we, the church, are witnessing to those truths with our very lives before all including those in the spiritual realm.

Wow, wow, wow! I don’t know about you, but this totally changes how I’m walking into today.

“The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies – in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” [1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬-‭11‬]

Steward what He’s given

To be a good steward of what we are given, we are to use it to serve one another.

1. Proclaim the gospel message to all through speaking His word, and in our living testimony.

2. Trust God with the role your life plays as part of His glorious plan.

3. Rejoice in suffering for the gospel and for being Christian. It is momentary, lasts a short time, will end, and will be rewarded.

4. Serve others in love and humility while reliant on the strength and leading of the Holy Spirit, that God be glorified in all things.

This is what You’re worthy of
Praise forever
All the good You’ve given us
Cannot be measured
You alone deserve it all
Our lives surrendered
Jesus take every part
It’s what You’re worthy of

“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
