Steward the time

“Freedom lives in forgiveness. Forgive, as I have forgiven you.”

March’s “word to walk in” prompt is based on Luke 6:37:

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;” [Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭37‬]

I was then led to Psalm 90:12 and Ephesians 5:15-16 in response.

Time is short, and forgiveness matters now more than ever. It’s integral to loving others, especially sacrificially in the case of unrepentant sin. We also love ourselves in the process when we forgive.

It’s said that hurt people hurt others. It’s hard to love well with a broken heart.

We should not only choose to forgive those who hurt us and ask that He forgive them. But, we should also ask Him to heal and restore hearts starting with our own.

So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.

Psalm‬ ‭90‬:‭12‬

This page is the monthly overview for the month of March in my faith planner. I’m using these pages to reflect on the different gifts we’re given to steward as that is my focus for the year.

I used a few printables, stamps, and washi tape from Illustrated Faith. The jumping off point for my journaling is the March prompt from a printable by @kristina.proffitt for Illustrated Faith’s digital Print Pray Shop. It’s called Words to walk in and includes a set of twelve prompt cards; one per month.

🎶 The Sacrifice ~ 7 Hills Worship, Brennan Storer

There’s something holy in Your fire
I feel it burning all my idols down
Leaving the ashes at the altar
I know my heart is different now
Everything changes in Your presence
You rearrange me from the inside out
Pulling me closer to Your heart, God
I know it all is different now

If You’re looking for an offering
I’ll be the sacrifice
No matter what it costs me
I’ll lay it on the line
There’s nothing I could own
That’s not worth letting go
If You can use my life
I’ll be the sacrific

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
