Well, I’ve received my assignment for whatever time I’m given in 2026 and it is this – to Steward, i.e. carefully and responsibly manage what is entrusted to me.
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace
1 Peter 4:10
I spent many months early last year learning and writing about this biblical concept for a project. So, I feel equipped and prepared to some degree. Still, I spent some time reflecting on this word because it feels so heavy and important.

I was encouraged by these restful prayers in @kristina.proffitt latest set of Typewriter Prayers for Illustrated Faith’s digital Print Pray Shop. I also used some printable Glorious Grace ephemera which is for the new devotional on the book of Ephesians.
My journaling is in my faith journal which is a basic, blank, A5 notebook.

I’m thankful for the reminders of Who goes before and with me.
May I be faithful and true but, more importantly, may it be with heart. May it be the outflow from being rooted in Love and abiding in Presence. May it be something I do with deep gratitude and great joy. And not something that leads to striving and false obedience.
May it be acceptable worship, Lord; for Your glory.
If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
