The cardinal is from a digital that is no longer available so I’ve linked the stamp set (Beautiful Birds) instead. I coloured it using markers and adhered it to the page. Then, I created the background around it.
I applied blue ink to the top of the page using the Cloudy Day stencil and a blending brush. On the bottom, I stamped the leaves from Mindful Magnolias in green ink. Then, I applied more of that ink to the page using a blending brush.
Next, I used the Peace Joy Love stencil to add the words “PEACE” to the top section of the page. And then, “PURE JOY” to the bottom section.
I stamped the words “abide faithfully” from Mindful Magnolias below the bird. Then, finished by highlighting the text and adding a prayer.

I’m celebrating the fact that we don’t have to wait until “spring” to sing. He is near even today and, while we wait, there are plentiful reasons to be glad!
