Glorious Grace

I’ve been lingering in the Ephesians study by @hellojillsky for @illustratedfaith for the past couple weeks, paused here with the reminder that God the Father gave His Beloved so that we would also be His…

In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬-‭6‬
Jesus came to make a way… to the Father. He is the promise.

And this Father is the Creator Who does whatever He wants. Yet, He chooses to bless and lavish grace, to His glory. What a God! He is the treasure.

Products used

Glorious Grace is the first in a 3-part bible study series on the book of Ephesians.

I’m using the digital version, instead of the physical kit, this month. I paired the ephemera with a mix of stamps and washi that I had in my stash as well as some printables from Illustrated Faith’s digital Print Pray Shop.

My journaling is in a disc-bound journal that I assembled. I used a clear cover and discs that I had in my stash. I made an inside cover by enlarging one of the images from the digital ephemera and printed in on cardstock.

As we will be studying the entire book of Ephesians, I liked the idea of having the entire study contained in one place. I bought a spiral-bound copy of the ESV Scripture Journal of Ephesians, and took out the binding to add it to the discs. I included the devotional and some note pages, and look forward to adding the forthcoming studies in here as well.

🎶 He’s the One ~ Emmy Rose

He’s the One who turned the water to wine
He’s the One who gave back sight to the blind
He’s the One and only He can do it

He’s the One, He’s the author of life
He’s the One who calls the dead things to rise
He’s the One and I’ve seen Him do it

He never fails, He never will
He never stops making a way
I will sing of what the Lord can do

He is the God of change; the God of redemption.

He took Saul from being a persecutor of the church to an Apostle revealing the mystery of the gospel. He took the Ephesians from paganism to belief. He is still working these miracles today.

How do we respond to this glorious grace? Sing beloved – sing praises, sing gratitude – our God is good!
