These pages are from the class session I shared during Creative Worship Stamp’s 2025 The Greatest of These Virtual Retreat. The theme of the event was love. I shared my approach to scripture writing, in a faith planner, reflecting on the most wonderful thing ever – God’s great love.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
1 John 4:7, 16
I am so thankful for His word and example teaching me how to love sacrificially.
Let us not strive in imitating Him in this, but rather know Him and His love. And then, with gratitude, love others. We will never love as perfectly as He did. However, we should endeavour to do so as commanded, and as led and empowered by His Spirit. I believe that it is in that effort that we will be changed and sanctified.
