I started by stamping the florals and sentiment from the Hope Blooms set, and cutting them out using the coordinating die set. The florals were coloured using watercolour paint.
Next, I applied red ink through the Diamond Mesh stencil using a blending brush along the edges of the page. I applied more ink on the edge then softened inwards from there. I also used the residual ink on the brush to the edges of the sentiment on hope.
I stamped the leaves and flowers from the same set in green and red inks on the bottom of the page. Then, I positioned the coloured floral on the page and stamped some more leaves and florals where it would be placed so that it created a large cluster.
Next, I stamped the title using the Typewriter and Skinny Caps Alpha sets. I used coloured markers to highlight the edges of the letters for “NEW”.
Lastly, I cut some butterflies from washi tape and added them to the page. I added some white splatters using acrylic paint. Then, I finished by highlighting the text and adding a note and a prayer.
