This is a follow up to my previous post on loving like Jesus, i.e. being fully surrendered to doing the will of God, the Father.
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22:36-39
But, how do I love God, others, and myself?
What does that look like in practice in this situation and in that? There are so many differing and changing opinions on this. If only there was a manual on love.
Well, there is and it’s written by Love Himself! However, it is so much more than a how-to manual. It is a testimony of how He did, and He still does, love. It is a revelation of Who He is and who we really are.
Even more incredible – He puts His Spirit of love within us to enable us to know, understand, and walk in our true identity. Wow, God.

- Rectangles & More stencil
I again took inspiration from the design already on the pages and complemented it.
I stamped the images of the books and shelves from the Library Treasures stamp set onto sticker paper. I cut them out by hand but there is an coordinating die set – Library Treasures die set. Then, I coloured them using markers.
Next, I used the Rectangles & More stencil to add hearts to the pages in pink ink using a blending brush. I also used the Messy Blocks stencil to add green ink on the bottom areas.
I stamped the Vintage Ledger Page on the right page and blended some ink over it. Then, I stamped the definition of love from Faith Definitions 1 over that. I glued the books to the page and added some shadowing using a grey marker. Then, I stamped the title using the Skinny Caps Alpha. The question mark is from the Typewriter Alpha set.
Lastly, I underlined the text and used the Vintage Snippets stamps to add some texture to the background here and there.

🎶 I Love You To Death ~ TEMITOPE
Knowing God is knowing love. His love changes us and enables us to love. Our love for others is evidence of His Spirit within us, especially when that love is for other believers who have the same Spirit.
Thank You God for Your word and Your Spirit. Thank You for Your love. Thank You for You.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
1 John 4:7, 16
