He is risen!
And so are we risen to new life and a new beginning in Jesus Christ.
I’ll forever be humbled by His joyful obedience. For, now, I get to go Home. Thank You, Jesus!
And, now, I can walk in my new identity – in Spirit, in truth, and in life.
As @shannanoel writes, each day is a new beginning, another day to choose to walk with eyes looking ahead at the joy before us, not looking back. Another day embracing our new selves which Jesus died to make possible. Another day to live by faith.
“Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.” [Romans 6:3-5]
