To surrender means to cease resistance and submit completely to God’s authority.
It is a complete yielding to God’s will, desires, and plans above our own.
The word “surrender” has been popping up all year and especially in the past few weeks. So, I created these journaling pages for further reflection.
Here’s what I’m learning today:
When you seek God and purpose to do His will, though contrary to understanding or current social norms, He will literally change your mind.
You will be transformed.
You will not look back as you run this race.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:31-32
