![As someone with chronic anemia and the resulting fatigue - when I read the list of achievements by the Proverbs 31 woman, I feel exhausted just imagining all she does.
So, I was encouraged by the reminder in the Proverbs 31 devotional by @illustratedfaith to “be in awe of how God used and gifted the Proverbs 31 woman” It is He who calls us to these varying roles and He who enables us to do them well by His strength.
Therefore, we can rest in Him; rely on Him and be led for His glory. We can be still and know His strength. We can be mighty because He is our Almighty God!
”Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.“ [Proverbs 31:25]
”But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.“ [2 Corinthians 12:9]
”As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.“ [1 Peter 4:10-11]
