“What you are waiting for is what you are living for”
I loved this quote from Ann Spangler’s book Praying the Names of Jesus for the name “Light of the world”. Waiting for Jesus to return means you’re living for Him today.
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John 8:12
If it feels dark where you are right now, know that light is a promise. Ask Him to illuminate your situation with His light of His truth, peace, and hope.
God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:5-7

I started with the Floating Circles stencil and applied yellow ink using a blending brush. Then, I stamped the Vintage Ledger Page in the corners of the pages. The impression was much lighter and subtler than I intended but that was for the best. I stamped the flowers from the Bloom With Grace Stamp Set along the edge and they blended in nicely with the subtle background. I didn’t want too much colour on these pages so I added some here and there using pencil crayons.
I used the Greek Alpha stamp set for the title on the left page. And the Print Script Alpha on the right page. After writing my notes, I added some phrases from the Worshipful Wordfetti stamp set in areas with white space.
