He came Himself and did what no one else could.
It’s clear to see, in the Old Testament particularly, that God’s people need to be saved from themselves. Each time they turned away from Him, their disobedience to His word led to brokenness. Yet, when they turned back to Him and called for help, He sent a deliverer. Until, in the fullness of time, He sent Himself.
Holy, Holy, Holy! Set apart, there is none like Him. He is faithful to His name.
Only He could give me true rest. Only He could give me peace. Only He could redeem my soul because I was always His. Thank You, Lord!

My heart exults in the Lord; my horn is exalted in the Lord. My mouth derides my enemies, because I rejoice in your salvation. There is none holy like the Lord: for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.
1 Samuel 2:1-2

🎶 Words We’ll Sing Forever ~ Seph Schlueter
He is worthy of all our praise. What Jesus did on the cross in dying for all of our sins (past and present), redeeming our souls, and giving us victory over death so that we are no longer separated from Home – is nothing short of remarkable! Meditating on this regularly gives me such courage.
