Love came down and lit our hearts. This changes how we live in the wait.
Observing the season of Advent leads us to remember what God has done, with thanksgiving, while also looking ahead, with joyful anticipation, to what He promised to do in the future.
May the joy of “God With Us” fill our hearts, fuel our hope, remind us of His love, and give us peace in the days to come. May we be so filled to then shine that light to a weary world.
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

I started by creating the die-cuts. I stamped flowers and leaves from the Hope Blooms and Be A Wildflower sets onto mixed media paper, then cut them out using the coordinating dies. I coloured them using watercolour paint.
Next, I used the Star Pattern stencil with yellow ink and a blending brush to add three stars to the pages. Then, I stamped the lantern and candle from the Lantern Light set over one of the stars. I stamped some hearts using the Postage Stamp Add-ons set. I coloured all of that using markers. Then, I added some white to the candle and hearts using a white gel pen.
For the rest of the background, I stencilled through the Delightfully Delicate stencil in a few colours that I’ve used in previous pages for this series. I also stencilled the words “LOVE”, “HOPE”, “PEACE”, and “JOY” using the Peace Joy Love stencil. I continued to blend the colours over the pages using a blending brush.
Lastly, I glued the florals to the bottom of the page then finished with some white paint splatters and a date stamp.

🎶 Flowers ~ Phil Wickham
The story of Christmas is of God giving us His Son – truly the best gift we’ve ever received. What can we offer in return? What can we possibly give to the Giver – from Whom all things flow, from Whom we have received everything including our very breath?
We can give Him our heart – all that we are, our entire being.
We can give Him our free will and live surrendered to His will.
We can give Him all the praise, thanks, adoration, and glory He alone deserves.
We can give Him our worship by being a living sacrifice, by being a set apart (holy) priesthood revealing Him to the world and interceding on its behalf.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
