I’ve been sleeping poorly and woke up feeling irritable today. Yet, I have a family to love. So, I got up and made the breakfast my littlest requested.
There are several ways to draw near to God. But, I never feel His presence quite as strongly as when I’m serving while tired, when I need His strength most. Not only did He sustain me physically – what I sought – but He also threw in joy and reminders of His amazing love.
We do not need to have our life’s ideals as evidence of God’s love and presence.
Encouraging you today to fill up on His perfect love and pour it out to others; without fear and as one who is perfectly loved.
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us.

I used the large floral from the Hope Blooms stamp set as a guide to set down some blobs of watercolour. Once the page dried, I stamped over it. I love the look of it being partially coloured.
Next, I stamped the title using the Skinny Caps Alpha stamp set. I took some words from the text that describes God’s love and typed them up onto a piece of paper to create the wordfetti.
I meant to add some strategically-placed splatters using the magenta ink but made a mess instead. I think it works as I was reflecting on God’s proven love in the sacrifice of His Son.

🎶 Perfect Love ~ Leeland
While we may be blessed to have the love of others, that is just a cherry on top. His love is the only one that sustains and satisfies. His love is perfect because He is Love!
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
