God Almighty – El Shaddai
The One for whom nothing is impossible.
The maker and keeper of promises.
The One who holds and sustains everything.
This is who I pray to. This is who fights my battles. This is who I serve. He is God and I am not.
Calling on His mighty name while surrendering to His good will – this is how I fight.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

This page is inspired by one my friend and fellow CWS Team member, Michelle @mclaychalet, created recently in the Creative Worship Stamps VIP Group on Facebook.
I started off with the background using ink smooshing in pink and purple inks. After it dried, I stamped the dandelion from the Take Flight stamp set using green and plum ink. I also stamped some dandelion seeds around the page in the same plum colour, using second generation stamping to get it a lighter colour as well. Then, I stamped the Sunflower Background using minimal ink so that it stayed in the background and added detail without standing out to much. Similarly, I stamped the Vintage Sheet Music here and there for the same effect.
Then, I added my notes, which are from the book Praying the Names of God by Ann Spangler. I also used the Hebrew and Typewriter alphas for the names of God. I stamped the title using the Skinny Caps Alpha and the faith sentiments are from the Take Flight stamp set.

🎶 You Are My God ~ Highlands Worship
I’ve been writing about surrender a lot recently. I’m learning about who God is this year by studying His names as well as looking at what scripture reveals about His character. This is repeatedly telling me what it means that He is my God and I am His daughter, servant, follower, etc. And, there’s only one response – worship; in awe and wonder, love, and surrender.
I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples. You with your arm redeemed your people, the children of Jacob and Joseph.
Psalm 77:12-15
