Left at His feet

Are you continually at His feet? Who are you bringing with you?

It’s a sobering thought that the blind can still lead. They lead those who are also blind and they both end up in the pit. It’s a reminder that we are all teachers, leaders, and disciple makers.

How important it is, then, that we are working out our own salvation with alertness. With fear and trembling, we seek our Father, bringing our own heart, and bringing those who can’t or won’t go to Him themselves.

Only He is capable of healing hearts.

And great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and they put them at his feet, and he healed them

Matthew 15:30

Process and products used:

This page in my Illustrating Bible by DaySpring features the following products by Creative Worship Stamps. These are affiliate links, please see the Privacy Policy for details.

Using the Kaleidoscope Stencil, I created the background using pink, blue and green inks and a blending brush. Then, I stamped the title using Skinny Caps Alpha and Glory & Praise stamps in black ink.

Next, I stamped some leaves from the Sketched Roses set at the top and bottom of the page. The butterfly is from the Vintage Butterflies & Blooms set. I stamped it onto mixed media paper and left it uncoloured so as to not distract from the background.

I typed up some wordfetti onto scrap paper and added them to the page, outlining so they stand out. Then, I finished the page with some black and white washi, highlighting using a marker, and some notes.
