Why are there songs on my prayer list?
I love listening to worship music as I go about my day; it keeps me singing. I noticed recently that some songs will bring someone to mind. Maybe that’s because I’d sent them that song to encourage them. Or maybe it speaks to their struggle. So, I created a playlist with these songs and routinely put it on as I do life, praying through them. I’ve found it to be such a wonderful prompt to pray for myself, friends, family, church, and the world. It also serves to encourage me in the area of prayer – to be bold yet thankful and sing prayers as big as my God.
In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints
Ephesians 6:16-18

In this final session of the Forever Redeemed devotional, Christy reminds us of Jesus being the perfect, unblemished lamb of God and how His sacrifice was sufficient to pay for all our sins. God made a way to protect His people, as He always does, but now once and for all.
She reminds us that we are completely covered by His blood, completely redeemed, and completely His. And she asks us to consider how knowing this changes the way we walk through today.
As for me, I will walk as one freed and as one loved. I will call upon His name and walk in His ways. I will rest in His sufficient grace.

The block alpha (called Emma’s Alpha) is also by Illustrated Faith. It was included in a previous (Still) devotional kit, but may be brought back if there is sufficient interest so feel free to request it or check their website.
I also used a printable by @kristina.proffitt called Prayers & Promises.
