Do not grow weary

I’m scripture writing, in my faith planner, and reflecting on God’s word. In May, the theme was joy and I shared about the strength in joy, what if joy heals, opportunities for joy, joy in the crushing, and joy in His might. The theme for June is diligence and I’m glad for the timely reminders to not grow weary.

Sometimes, I just feel so tired of faith-ing; know what I mean? So tired of the race, tired of the fight. I don’t give up, but my attitude is not great. I’ve stopped singing. I am so thankful He meets me in my honesty.

I am thankful that He sustains our faith along this journey. I’m thankful that He both strengthens us to push through and leads us into moments of rest. He knows what is needed.

let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬
He is diligent and enables us to be so as well.

He strengthens us when weary and brings the harvest in due time; when it is truly ready. He initiates, sustains, and establishes the work. Yes, we can follow His leading.

Let the favour of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!

Psalm‬ ‭90‬:‭17‬

🎶 Praise You All The Same ~ Erik Nieder

Jesus my portion
To have You is enough
Though it may cost me
Let Your will be done

You’re my sustainer
In my Gethsemane
When my heart’s begging
Would You take this cup from me

I’ll trust You if You do
And I’ll trust You if You don’t
You can take it all away
I will praise You all the same
You are God in every high
You’re still God in every low
You can give and take away
I will praise You all the same

The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.

Job ‭1:‭21
