I’m scripture writing, in my faith planner, and reflecting on joy in the month of May. Last time, I shared about the strength in joy, what if joy heals, opportunities for joy, and joy in the crushing.
I concluded the month with the reminder to find joy in His might.
He is praiseworthy; doing wondrous and mighty deeds.
He delights in our faith-fuelled prayers that show we truly know Him.
Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples! Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works! Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!
Psalm 105:1-3
Give thanks. Call upon His name. Make known His deeds.
He has done enough and is more than enough, but what if He’s inviting us to ask for even more reasons to boast in His name?
To pray like we believe He rules.
Pray for the impossible and the miracles.
Pray for jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring acts of wonder.
For strongholds to break, hearts to heal, and souls delivered.
Pray to watch Him glorify His name.
Pray to boast in our God.
Let us make some noise, praising our God, by sharing our testimonies of His active presence in our lives. Let us testify of His goodness so that many will come to know Him and His faithful love. Let us do so with great joy!
Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
